JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville University's Head Softball Coach Jennifer Steele has announced several dates this fall for local athletes to train with JU's staff.
"These mini clinics will give us the opportunity to continue to work with our home-grown talent," said Steele. "Jacksonville and the surrounding area is a softball powerhouse and we are excited to continue to foster relationships with the community."
All clinics are 1 hour long and $30. Contact the respective coach via email (details listed below) to reserve your spot. Athletes will be emailed a registration document and medical waiver that will need to be completed prior to participation. Athletes can pay ON SITE when arriving to check in at the softball field; please note that there are no options to pay with a credit card.
All hitting clinics require a bat, helmet, cleats, tennis shoes, and water bottle. All pitching clinics require a glove, cleats, tennis shoes, water bottle, and athletes must provide their own catcher (can be a parent, friend, etc.) Please note that if your catcher is under 18 years old then their parent/guardian must fill out a medical waiver.
