Dolphins Host Second Home Tournament

Softball Preview: Dolphin Invitational

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville University softball is set to host its second-straight tournament Friday-Sunday as the Dolphins welcome three teams to the Debbie & Fred Pruitt Softball Complex for the Dolphin Invitational. Teams competing at JU this weekend include UT-Arlington, Canisius, and Providence.

"We are looking forward to another exciting weekend here at home," said head coach Erica Ayers. "The support from the fans last weekend was great. We've worked on some things this week that I felt exposed us last weekend, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the kids respond. UTA, Canisius and Providence all bring a different set of challenges, so it will be important for us to focus on what we do well, impose our will and continue to play with great energy, passion and belief."
