The United States will meet Canada in the final for the eighth time in the last nine iterations of the event.

Midfielders Eric Applegate and Hayden La Vangie, along with defenseman Dixon Smith were voted to the role by their teammates and coaching staff.

    Coming off an overtime victory in the semifinal two days ago, Jacksonville University men’s lacrosse had its historic season cut short its first-ever appearance in the Southern Conference Tournament Championship game, Saturday afternoon at Robins Stadium. The #3 Dolphins battled tournament hosts and #1 Richmond to overtime, though today’s ending heartbreakingly fell in favor of the Spiders, 11-10.

What sounds like a movie plot played out in the Southern Conference semifinal Thursday evening as the #3 seeded Jacksonville University men’s lacrosse team rallied from six goals down to send the game into overtime, where the Dolphins saw the game-winner come off the stick of junior midfielder and Richmond, Va. native Evan Tyler just 1:22 into the extra period to lift Jacksonville over #2 High Point, 12-11, at Richmond’s Robins Stadium.

    Everything came full circle for Jacksonville University men's lacrosse Saturday afternoon as six of the Dolphins' 10 seniors recorded a point in a 14-5 win over Southern Conference foe VMI on Senior Day. With a 6-5 record overall, the victory marks Jacksonville's first .500 or better season since 2013 and just its second winning season in program history.

    Wednesday evening marked a historic night for the Jacksonville University men’s lacrosse program as three Dolphins were drafted in the 2018 Major League Lacrosse (MLL) Collegiate Draft presented by Cascade, held at the US Lacrosse headquarters. Hunter Forbes, Ryan Beville, and McLean Chicquen were all chosen in the draft, with Forbes going to the Atlanta Blaze, Beville to the Florida Launch, and Chicquen to the Dallas Rattlers, joining head coach John Galloway.
